background
Counseling is a second career for me. After receiving my Masters in Acoustics from Penn State, I worked for 5 years in the engineering world before deciding I wanted something more relational and meaningful. Besides interests in science and psychology, I also play violin and guitar, love to cook, and root for my Braves and Falcons whenever I get a chance. I am also particularly interested in the science of personality and closely follow the work of Juan Sandoval and Dr. Dario Nardi.
education
I graduated in 2016 with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, a CACREP accredited program. Additionally, I enrolled at Denver Family Institute in 2015 to focus on Marriage and Family Therapy and receive an accredited certificate from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
